Dietetic interns have the opportunity to work with Veterans, enhancing their skills in nutrition education, counseling, and the development of culturally sensitive dietary interventions.

Popular green areas such as the New York Botanical Garden and Pelham Bay Park foster an appreciation for natural food sources and sustainable practices. The borough provides an environment for professional growth and learning as a future dietitian.
